The biggest compliments are return customers! I photographed Landon’s big sister Madisyn three years ago prior to having my studio and I was so excited to have this sweet family return for their newborn pictures with their new baby. As a mom of two myself, I know how important those sibling shots are. It always seems impossible to capture good pictures of both kids at home. Also the full family picture is a must have. I make sure to make the older sibling feel important, especially since they have just had such a major life adjustment. I make sure to do these shots early on in the photography session so that the older sibling can either go with a grandparent for the remainder of the session or just hang out on the couch and watch tv.
The remainder of the session is mainly devoted to individual baby pictures and baby and parent pictures. Parent pictures don’t take long so once those are finished I can focus on the baby. Baby Landon was super sleepy and was a dream to photograph! These clients chose a custom designed album to match the one they had for Madisyn’s session, plus a hanging canvas, and a macramé photo block print of the family. I can’t wait to deliver all of their beautiful products!
